Sex and relationship support as well as information is available confidentially at all our drop in sessions, when you can talk with us about anything that is on your mind. We will answer all your questions honestly and support you to make the right choices for you, without judging or criticising you or making you feel embarrassed.

Youth Start works closely with Rotherham Contraception and Sexual Health Service (CASH) to ensure young people also have access to appropriate medical advice and support.


The Sexwise Youth Clinic

This service runs at Youth Start on Tuesdays between 3.30pm and 6.00pm every week.  You don't need an appointment to attend you can just drop in.

Here you will be able to talk to youth workers and nurses about your sexual health and be able to get free contraception such as:

• Pills
• Emergency contraception
• Injection
• Implant
• Condoms
• Some checks for sexually transmitted infections
• Pregnancy tests

There is also a nurse available during the week to provide emergency contraception, repeat pills and injections. She is here on:
Mondays         12.00 noon – 2.00pm
Thursdays       12.00 noon – 2.00pm
